In Portland, Maine, this guy used to walk around handing out candy that was attached to a business card sized note - it had on it &quot;the purity pledge.&quot; The idea was that you eat the candy as a condition of taking the pledge. I always had a dark suspicion that the candy was actually a Ruffie, but since he kept at it for so long, I guess my suspicions were wrong.</description>
